Sending Email Announcements to Attendees
Reach your registrants by email from Event Console → Communicate → Announcements.
Compose
- Subject and Message body (rich text editor: bold, lists, links, headings, images).
- Insert Variables to personalize per recipient: {{attendee_name}}, {{event_title}}, {{event_date}}, {{event_time}}, {{event_venue}}, {{ticket_type}}. Click a variable chip to drop it into the body — don't type it by hand.
Target Audience
- All Attendees
- Checked-in / Not checked-in
- Specific ticket tiers
The Estimated recipients count reflects who will actually receive it (people who unsubscribed are excluded).
Personalization
Turn on either option in the Personalization panel:
- Personalized greeting — opens each email with "Hi
," (falls back to "Hi," when no name is available). - Personalized signature — a customizable sign-off, pre-filled with "
Team".
The live preview shows exactly how the framed email will look.
Send now or schedule
- Send Now delivers immediately.
- Schedule for later — pick a date and time; Planadar sends it automatically at that moment.
After sending
Sent announcements appear under Previous Announcements with a recipient count and status. See Email Campaign Analytics for open/click rates.
Tip: Use Email Templates to save reusable content you can insert into announcements.
